Preparations:

  • TV Box Mecool KM8P (2/16GB) or M96X Plus (2/16GB)

  • A HDMI supported display/monitor.

  • TF Card (micro sd) 8Gb or more.


Upgrading Steps:

1. Make boot TF card for TV Box with Linux image for KM8P.

2. Upgrade TV Box via TF card:

  • Plug out the TF card from your PC (safe remove) and then insert it into the TF Card slot of TV Box.

  • Connect HDMI cable.

  • Hold recovery button and power on TV Box.

  • Count 2-3 seconds and release the recovery button to enter into upgrade mode.

If everything goes fine, now your display/monitor should display like this:




3. Confirm installation steps in dialog. After success install you can see screen like this:




4. After shutdown TV Box remove TF Card from slot.

5. Reconnect power adapter and wait until the device is fully loaded.
